Currently, he is part of the Sales & Marketing team, focusing on building overseas marketing support services and expanding the marketplace by bringing in new manufacturing partners. In his free time, he enjoys strength training and reading.

Connecting Buyers and Sellers in the Chemical Industry through Technology

My role at BuyChemJapan is to connect people who want to buy and sell chemical products. For the marketplace to be valuable, it needs a strong foundation, which ultimately depends on increasing both the number of users and the products listed. This is the core of what makes a marketplace valuable: allowing buyers to find what they are looking for and enabling sellers to connect with potential customers. I am fully committed to supporting sellers by providing services that help them effectively promote their products. Our mission is to meet the needs of both buyers and sellers through technology and facilitate more successful transactions.

Thinking, Communicating, and Executing

I have strengthened my critical thinking and execution skills. Working in a startup environment means facing new challenges every day. With feedback from my managers, I have developed a stronger ability to think through complex issues and have noticed real improvement in my analytical skills. I have also gained experience in presenting ideas to my team and putting them into action, which has helped me see direct results. I am dedicated to creating the best possible foundation for future growth from the ground up.

Making BuyChemJapan the Go-To for Buying and Selling Chemicals

My goal is to make BuyChemJapan the go-to name worldwide for buying and selling chemicals. In Japan’s chemical industry, traditional methods still dominate, and there is resistance to adopting tech-driven business models. It can be frustrating, but as a startup, we are still in the early stages of a long journey. I want to raise BuyChem’s visibility to become the top choice in the industry. To do this, I will keep pushing for new challenges and delivering value to our users with innovative services.

I usually wake up around 7:00, have breakfast, and get ready for work. Preparing well in the morning helps me set a good tone for the day.

Arrive at the Office
I start each day with a meeting with the CEO. We review weekly metrics, discuss customer interactions, and role-play scenarios to ensure our approach aligns with our goals. The close working relationship with the CEO is invaluable in keeping a fast pace.

Customer Support
Throughout the day, I handle inquiries from international users and manufacturers who list their products on our marketplace.

Overseas Marketing Meeting
As part of our overseas marketing support, we have regular meetings to discuss the production of promotional videos for manufacturers’ products. We review progress, share feedback, and collaborate to improve the quality of each video.

On busy days, I eat at my desk, but I usually enjoy a packed lunch in our sunlit café area, one of my favorite spots in the office.

I meet with the makers considering our marketplace or support services. While most meetings are online, I occasionally visit to meet clients. It is fulfilling to see deals move forward.
