originally from Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating from Hiroshima International University, he managed a guesthouse in Okinawa. Later, he moved to Tokyo, where he gained diverse experience in contract-based and outsourced development projects, working on both large and small-scale projects. He transitioned to a role as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at a service-based company and, following the sale of the company, became a freelancer and entrepreneur, which he continues to pursue today.
I manage existing systems and add new features based on user feedback and data analysis.

What Makes My Work Rewarding
Everyone Plays a Central Role in the Business!
At BuyChemJapan, everyone is involved as a core member of the business. For example, in system development, I engage in foundational areas like app design, system environment setup, and team building. This opportunity to contribute to such important parts is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.
What I’m Proud Of
Flexible Work Style and Opportunities for Growth
Though busy at times, there is no pressure to work without breaks. Outside of core hours, I can work in a way that suits me. This flexibility, combined with considerable autonomy, provides ample opportunities to gain experience and expand my knowledge.
A Typical Day
9:30
Start Work
Thanks to remote work, I save commuting time. After dropping off my children at daycare, I can enjoy a coffee and settle into my home office at a comfortable pace. Since my children are still young, I can help with breakfast and getting them dressed, which is a big help.
10:00
Meeting with Marketing Team
In meetings with the development and marketing teams, we confirm tasks needed to meet our goals and discuss any challenges from the field. Sometimes, conversations drift, and we end up discussing the company’s long-term vision… which is always fun!
11:00
Routine Tasks
When system errors or bug reports arise, I check server logs and register any confirmed issues as incidents in our management system. If urgent, I adjust my schedule to address the problem promptly, always prioritizing tasks effectively.
11:30
Document Management
I update and refine documentation such as tips, wikis, policies, and design guidelines, ensuring the entire development team can work smoothly. Clear, well-organized documents help maintain consistent quality across projects.
12:00
Lunch
I usually have lunch between 12:00 and 1:00 PM, eating at home or sometimes going out for a change of scenery.
13:00
Development
I focus on development tasks.
15:00
Team Meeting
In the afternoon, we hold a progress and issue-sharing meeting within the development team. With international members in the team, both Japanese and English are spoken.
16:00
Code Review
I review code submitted by the development team, ensuring it aligns with standards and requirements. When necessary, I leave comments or provide sample code, making sure less experienced team members can easily understand the feedback.
18:00
Wrapping Up
I log the progress of tasks completed that day and review pending or delayed tasks. If there are any delays, I report them and update the task list as needed.
18:30
End of Work
Around this time, I finish up the day, enjoy dinner with my family, and help bathe my children.
